Proven Energy Savings at Hilton Birmingham Metropole
The Hilton Birmingham Metropole, located at the National Exhibition Centre, has 794 rooms, three restaurants, and a lounge bar open 24 hours a day. It also has 32 meeting rooms that can accommodate up to 2,000 delegates. There are several main and room service kitchens, all of which have refrigeration equipment.
Following the successful trials at the Metropole Birmingham, a nationwide energy-saving installation was carried out.
The test results demonstrated that savings of up to 21% are possible over the test period, which is supported by the spot readings.
