PAK Supermarket

PAK Supermarket started from a small Asian grocery store to a national chain, providing employment to 100 people in the most deprived parts of the region. For 30 years, the key customers for PAK Supermarket have been from the Pakistani community. But it has grown to serve quality food from all ethnic traditions including Indian, Bangladeshi, African-Caribbean, the Middle East and Africa. Now PAK Supermarket has a great regional reputation for supplying top quality authentic ingredients for ethnic food from all over the world

Step 1 SavaPower Installation

The SavaPower Voltage Optomiation unit was fitted to the incoming supply after hours to avoid store distruption. After setup, a 20% reduction in energy costs was virified by logging the power consumption. This fantastac saving led to a new investment in LED lighting.

Step 2 SavaLED Installation

All retail environments benefits from bright, attractive lighting to draw in customers and maximise sales. The store had traditional twin 6 foot T8 lighting across it ceiling. Savawatt upgraded the lighting to new 5ft LED luminaires pushing out an amazing 6,000 lumens of light at just 54W. The end result was a store which looked brighter, modern and ultra low running cost to boot.

The combined savings of both SavaPower and SavaLED at Pak supermarket reduced their electricity bill by 50%.
