DVLA (The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency) is responsible for maintaining a database of drivers and vehicles in Great Britain. On the whole the agency issues driving licences, vehicle excise duty and sells private number plates. DVLA is based in Swansea, south Wales, with a large 16 storey building in Clase and offices in Swansea Vale.
